Certifications & Safety Operations

Certificate of Recognition (C.O.R.) since 1999. Annual internal & external audits routinely have resulted in high 90% scores and ensure that we are exceeding industry standards and leader in safety compliance.

In 2009 Partners in Compliance (P.I.C.) certification was awarded to us from Alberta Transportation. With, at the time, only 22 other Alberta trucking companies were part of this elite group, Rebel Heart Trucking was the first water & gravel trucking company to qualify.

As a result of us being part of the P.I.C. program we have also attained an "EXCELLENT" Safety Fitness rating with Alberta Transportation in regards to our operating rights as a trucking company.

We train our operators and ensure that they are certified in the following industry safety training courses including General Oilfield Driver Improvement (GODI), Fatigue Management, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, CSTS/PST and more. As a result of this extensive training we have also attained IRP 16 certification status with Enform since 2007.

Rebel Heart's Edmonton maintenance shop also holds a Vehicle Inspection Facility License. With certified journeyman mechanics and welders on staff, the equipment is kept well serviced and on the job.

Currently we are active members with the Alberta Motor Transport Association (since 2001) and the Alberta Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association (since 2010).
