Norm Kellert President/Owner Norm founded the company on March 23, 1994. He continues to actively manage it. Prior to Rebel Heart Trucking he worked 20 years in the oilfield across Western Canada and Iran. Ten years of this was as Operation Manager for Red Arrow Drilling Ltd. He is married to Deb and is the proud of his 2 sons (Andy, Adam) and 1 daughter (Ashley). Each of them is married with children. Norm enjoys travelling to see the world and spending time with his eight grandchildren.
Andy Kellert Business Development Manager Andy joined the family run business in June of 2001. His current position as Business Development Manager was preceded with past positions as General Manager, Operations Manager, Safety Manager, Administrative Assistant and Driver. He graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2004 with an honors diploma in Business Accounting. Prior to coming to Rebel Heart Trucking he held various management positions with a major Canadian Retailer. When not at work he enjoys volunteering in the community, coaching his two boys in various sports and spending time camping with his wife.
Darryl Durham Maintenance Manager Darryl started with Rebel Heart in January of 2004. He has been working in the mechanic trade for over the last 30 plus year. He completed his Heavy Equipment /Commercial Truck journeyman status in 1989 and also holds a Red Seal in this profession. When he is not a work you will find him working on hot rods in his garage or enjoying life with his wife at the their lake lot.
Steve Foster Operations Manager Steve joined the Rebel Heart family in January 2002. He began his career here as a rig water hauler. After 7 years of professional services to the oil industry he was promoted to a Dispatcher/Supervisor position. After a successful 2 years in dispatch, Steve was again promoted to Operations Manager. Steve has been around the trucking industry since the early 80's, 14 of which were in the tow truck business. His spare time is now spent with his wife and grandchildren, his passion for golfing and following his favorite hockey team.
Steven Leer Business & Safety Manager
With more than 25 years experience in managing Health and Safety in the workplace Steve is our resident expert for all things safety. Steve came to Rebel Heart in 2006, after 28 years with the federal government. Steve has experience in managing safety programs for large fleets of trucks and heavy equipment. His wealth of knowledge, extensive experience and education serve as the cornerstone of our Health & Safety Program.
